Nasi Goreng Fried Rice is an Indonesian dish that is quickly becoming a global favorite. Originating in the Southeast Asian country of Indonesia, Nasi Goreng is a flavorful and fragrant fried rice dish made with a variety of ingredients like kecap manis (sweet soy sauce), shrimp paste, tamarind, chili paste, and more.

Nasi goreng can also be made with other ingredients such as peanuts, anchovies, and shrimp paste. It is a popular dish in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Netherlands, as well as other Southeast Asian countries.
